Who we are
TMR is published by MJD Apps (“we”, “us”). MJD Apps is the controller for the limited personal data described in this policy. Contact: support@mjdapps.com.
Data stored on your device
Tasks, habits, check-ins, goals, streaks, countdowns, lists, vision board items and your settings are stored in the app’s private storage on your iPhone or iPad. This data never reaches us. It’s included in your device backups under Apple’s terms.
iCloud sync
If you turn on iCloud sync (TMR Plus), your TMR data, including vision board photos, is stored in the private database of your iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit. Only your Apple Account can access it; we can’t see, read or export it. Apple’s privacy policy governs iCloud. Turning sync off stops new uploads. See Delete all my data to remove what’s already in iCloud.
Apple Health (HealthKit)
If you connect a habit or goal to Apple Health, TMR asks permission to read only the data types you choose, such as steps, walking and running distance, exercise minutes, active energy, mindful minutes or sleep. We use this data only to mark habits complete and update goal progress inside the app.
- Health-derived results (habit check-ins and goal totals) stay on your device, and in your private iCloud if you turn on sync.
- We never send Health data to our servers or to third parties.
- We never use Health data for advertising, marketing or data mining, and never sell it.
- TMR doesn’t write any data to Apple Health.
You can change or revoke access any time in the Health app → your profile → Apps → TMR.
Calendars (EventKit)
If you turn on Calendar sync (TMR Plus), TMR asks for access to your calendars. It reads events from the calendars you choose so you can see them while planning, and it creates and updates events only in a dedicated TMR calendar for your scheduled tasks. Calendars from accounts on your device, such as Google Calendar, are accessed through iOS. We don’t connect to Google or any calendar server directly, and calendar data never reaches us. Revoke access any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.
Photos
When you add a picture to your vision board, you choose it with the system photo picker. TMR receives only the images you pick and stores a copy in the app, and in your iCloud if sync is on. TMR doesn’t access the rest of your library.
Notifications
Evening review, task and habit reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We don’t use push notification servers or collect device tokens.
Apple Intelligence
Optional features such as Interpret with AI, Suggest smaller steps and Suggest a plan use Apple’s on-device foundation model. The text you provide is processed on your device and isn’t sent to us. Suggestions are drafts until you approve them.
Siri, Shortcuts and widgets
Widgets and Siri read your TMR data on the device to show your plan or carry out a request. Requests you make to Siri are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy.
Purchases
TMR Plus is sold through the App Store. Apple processes payment, and we never see your name, email or payment details. The app receives a signed record of your subscription status from Apple to unlock features.
Support emails
If you email support@mjdapps.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include, such as device details or screenshots. We use it only to answer you, and keep it for up to 24 months for follow-up unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
This website
This site is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It uses no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the site, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We don’t use those logs to identify visitors.
Sharing and selling
We don’t sell or share personal information, and we don’t use it for targeted advertising. The only third parties involved are the platform providers above (Apple and Cloudflare), acting under their own terms.
Retention and deletion
Data on your device and in your iCloud stays until you delete it. Support emails are kept as described above. Step-by-step instructions to delete everything are on the support page.
Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and similar laws)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Because nearly all TMR data stays on your device or in your iCloud, you can exercise most of these rights directly in the app or in your Apple settings. For anything we hold, mainly support emails, write to support@mjdapps.com. We’ll respond within 30 days. California residents: we don’t sell or share personal information. If you’re in the EU, EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Our legal bases are performance of our agreement with you (providing the app), your consent (Health, Calendar, Photos and notifications, which you can withdraw at any time), and our legitimate interest in answering support requests.
Children
TMR isn’t directed at children under 13, or under 16 in the EU, EEA and UK, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Security
Your data is protected by iOS data protection on your device and by Apple’s iCloud security when sync is on. This website is served only over HTTPS with strict security headers.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date above. For material changes, we’ll tell you in the app or on this site before they take effect.
