Terms of Use

The rules for using TMR and TMR Plus, written to be readable.

Effective

Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the TMR app and this website, published by MJD Apps (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using TMR you agree to these Terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls for the app.

Using TMR

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use TMR on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store Usage Rules. Don’t reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app, or use it to break the law.

TMR Plus subscription

TMR is free to download. TMR Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features.

If a subscription ends, your data stays. Items beyond the free limits are kept, and Plus-only features pause until you subscribe again.

Not medical advice

TMR is a planning and motivation tool. Habits, goals, step counts, sleep, exercise and other figures, including those read from Apple Health, are for personal motivation only and aren’t medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Talk to a qualified professional before changing your exercise, sleep or diet, especially if you have a health condition. Never ignore professional advice because of something in the app.

Third-party services

Some features rely on services we don’t control, including Apple Health, Apple Calendar, calendar accounts such as Google Calendar added to your device, iCloud, Siri and Apple Intelligence. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and their availability may change.

Your content

You own everything you put into TMR. We don’t receive it unless you send it to us, for example in a support email. You’re responsible for keeping backups of anything important.

Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, TMR is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, that reminders or notifications will always be delivered, that sync with iCloud or calendars will never conflict or be delayed, or that data read from Apple Health will be complete or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, MJD Apps won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, missed appointments or deadlines, or calendar changes, arising from your use of TMR. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for TMR Plus in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes to the app

We may add, change or remove features, including which features are part of TMR Plus. If a change materially reduces what an active subscription includes, we’ll tell you in advance in the app.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We’ll change the effective date above, and for material changes we’ll tell you in the app or on this site before they take effect. Continuing to use TMR after that means you accept the updated Terms.
